In January of 2013 I woke up one day and decided to take control of my life and health.. for good! Since that day I have lost a little over a 100lbs. However, besides a little victory from the scale, I've also dropped from a size 18 jean to a size 5. I went from not being able to run for more than a quarter mile to running up to 13! If there's one thing this journey has tought me it's that being healthy is not about the number on the scale. It's about eating to fuel your body, not poison it. And fitness is about rewarding your body, not punishing it. God's given me the second chance of a lifetime, so I'm gonna live life to the fullest every minute of it!
